Hi, I'm Sifu Keith Mazza of the Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu Academy in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. Right now we're going to discuss using Martial Arts self defense weapons. In Martial Arts anything can be picked up and use as a weapon, even something as simple as a short stick. In Wing Chun, it's called the butterfly rod. The key attention here is to focus your energy at the end of the tip of the stick. This can be replaced with any cylindrical shaped object, short stick, pen, even a magazine if need be. So, Rob is going to cause Michelle; she's going to defend herself using the butterfly rod. Go. "Again slow please." As Rob reaches Michelle, she steps offline, attacks his hand. Drives the stick into his stomach, returns with the palm strike to the back of the head. Good. "Once again, fast please." On this type, Rob is going to attempt toward Michelle. "Michelle defend yourself please." "Once again, slow please." She identifies the force and directs it with a kick, attacks the arm and applies the choke. "Once again fast please." This was Martial Arts self defense weapons. Once again, I'm Sifu Keith Mazza of the Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu Academy in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.
