Hi, I'm Mindy Black with Inner Beauty Skin Care. Did you have a little too much fun in the sun, and now you have peeling skin from that sunburn? I'm going to show you how to get rid of that peeling skin in this video. Let's get started. The most important thing to remember here is that we way to moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. You can never have enough moisturizer after you've had that sunburn and now you're left with peeling, flaking, dry skin. So once you pull the burn out of the skin you can apply that after sun care moisturizer that's going to help to begin the healing process. You don't want to pull the loose skin because it can actually lead to scarring and bleeding. Your body will actually release the dead skin when it's ready to. Drink lots of water, wear loose fitting clothes, take cool showers and don't over-stimulate the area. You have a burn which is really considered trauma to your skin. Once the flaking has slowed down, you can use a light exfoliation like an enzyme mask to help digest the remaining dead skin cells. Look for the moisturizers that contain hyaluronic acid which attracts the water and locks in that hydration helping to repair the skin. Remember, moisturize, moisturize, moisturize, that's how we're going to remove the dead flaky skin and soothe your skin from a sunburn. I'm Mindy Black. Thanks for watching.
