Hi, my name is Marija. I'm a mathematician, and today I'm going to show you how to make the sine function become cosine. So cosine of a function we'll say cosine of T is going to be equivalent to the sine of whatever T was plus Pi over 2 because the sine function is actually just Pi over 2 units further to the right than the cosine function is. So if we try to go ahead and try to draw this on a coordinate plane, my cosine function is going to start at negative .5 Pi, that's where it's going to intercept, intercept but my sine function is going to intercept right through the origin. So it's actually just Pi over 2 units over to the right so when I want to convert it I'm going to add Pi over 2 and then take the sine of it and that will give me the cosine. My name is Marija and I just showed you how to find or how to change the sine function into the cosine function.
