Hey, how you doing? BC here at Las Perlas, downtown L.A. And today, we're going to learn how to make a low-carb margarita. Rule number one, for our low-carb margarita, what you really want is an Anejo. Here's the thing; the older the tequila, the more aging it has, the less car it's going to have. So, where you take an Anejo which is only going to have roughly, hmmm, about a, Anejo is going to have roughly about four to five grams per one and a half ounce versus a Blanco which is a newer one which is going to, which will be the silver one, that's going to have roughly 11 grams per ounce. So, what we're going to do is we're going to take our Anejo, we're going to take two ounces, pour it in our tin. Hmmm! Then, we're going to take our Royal Combier. Now, Royal Combier or any triple sec is going to be sweeter. So, that's actually going to have a little bit more, that's going to have about 9.5 grams for your carbs. We're just going to take half an ounce; then we're going to take our lime juice. Now, lime juice for roughly an ounce is going to have about two grams. So, we're just going to take one ounce. And then, instead of using sugar or refine sugar, we're going to use agave nectar. Now, agave nectar is going to have for every teaspoon about hmm, 30 grams. So, this is, this is the kicker right here. This is going to be the one thing that's going to add the most carbs to it. But, we're only going to use one teaspoon, so it shouldn't be too bad. So, overall we have about hmm, roughly 50 plus grams in our actual margarita. Not too shabby. I'm going to take that; throw that bad boy up or shake it, whichever you prefer to do. Once you gave it a good shake, you're going to just put it right here in our glass, hmmm. And there you have a low carb margarita for your drinking enjoyment and that way you don't feel so bad after you have a full meal, some tacos and a little carb margarita to start you off.
