Hi, I'm Daria Artem, Chief Confectionery Officer of Lady Fortunes Gourmet Cookie Company. I'm here to show you how to make your own miniature fortune cookies. And this is a great idea. There's so cute, they're wonderful for baby showers or just as a, as, as, as, as a delicious little treat you can pop in your mouth and just enjoy it. It's really really cute. And they're really very simple to make. So, once you see this, you're going to be, "Oh, my goodness, I'm going to make these everyday." Now, for the fortune cookie recipe, please to go to; that's lady fortunes with an s dot com. We have recipes posted on some of our favorite fortune cookie recipes, including this one which is called our basic good fortune cookie recipe. What we're going to do is we'll start with a crepe maker. Now, these fortune cookies, you can't do it in an oven, you have to do it on a crepe maker. You can also do it on a skillet, like a non-stick omelet pan. You can't do these in the even 'cause it just, it, it, it wouldn't work. I've tried doing it in the oven and it just, it, don't, don't even go there. But, what we're going to do is we're going to go ahead and just put some cooking spray onto our crepe maker and then, what I'm using is I'm just using a little, you know, like a little teaspoon. I'm going to take a little bit of the batter that we have magically waiting for us here. And what we're going to do is we're going to go ahead and spoon it on and we're just going to go ahead and roll it out. And we're going to make several different sizes here. You want to make a perfect circle or as perfect as you can get it. You can make them in different sizes; you can make them tiny or small. And we're going to go, we're going to go ahead and set up, set the bowl aside. And actually, I will probably end up using this little bowl right over here. You need to have a bowl ready set to go so that you can form the fortune cookies. What we're going to do is we're going to go ahead and check these out and you can make them your own, your own way. So, you can make them light or you can make them crispy brown. The more brown they are, the crispier they are. We're going to go ahead and grab one that looks more ready. It's a good idea to remember what order you put these in on. Okay, we'll just start off with this one. What we're going to do is we're just going to go ahead and fold it up and then we're going to bend it over the side of the bowl. And there we have it. Now, it's a good idea to have something that you can form these in. So, you can take like a little egg carton or you know, simply, you know, grab like a, a rolling pin and you know, anything else that you want to put in there. But, I'm going to use this little former and we're going to work quickly here. We're going to go ahead and fold and bend. And see, there's your perfect little miniature fortune cookie. It's so cute! Now, you can wear cotton gloves while you're doing these. I forgot to mention that these are a little hot; my hands are tempered because I work with hot cookies all day long, working on cookie gifts to send across the country for But, you can definitely wear cotton gloves when you're doing this. And here you have it, your cute little miniature fortune cookies. I would give them about 20 minutes to half an hour to fully cool before you enjoy them. And these have so much possibility, you can, you can make a whole little box of these and send them to your sweetheart. There's a lot of things you can do. You can dip them in chocolate, you can make them delicious bite size and one of the reasons I love these is because they are exactly a bite size fortune cookie. And there you have it, your own miniature fortune cookies.
