Hi, I'm Rona Lewis, fitness and lifestyle coach and healthy chef. Today, we're going to talk about seasoned and baked fresh salmon. Now, there are a myriad of ways that you can bake fresh salmon. 'Course, the most important thing is to preheat your oven 350 degrees. One of my favorite things to use for baked salmon is mayonnaise. Mayonnaise is oil and vinegar, little eggs, and it makes a wonderful base for anything else that you may want to use to jazz it up. It also keeps your fish nice and moist when you bake it, because you want that little protection on top. So, what I'm doing is kind of painting the mayonnaise on top. Now, that is the basis for everything else that you want to do. From here, if you want to add a little balsamic, you can do that. I prefer little lime juice, squeeze that on it. I like some white pepper, just little change of pace. It's not quite as harsh as black pepper. Some salt. And you can use any kind of herbs that you want. My favorite is dill. So, I sprinkle little bit on, and that's all you need to do to bake it. You don't have to put a cover on it. You just put it on an aluminum foil pan. Put it in the oven, about 15-20 minutes, depending on the size of your fish. And when it's done, it gets a little crust on it, and it's absolutely a beautiful piece of fish.
