Hi, this is Tony Chimino. I'm the CEO of Assurance talking today about how to create a business plan to sell insurance. For most people a business plan needs to contain numerous ways in which you're going to generate opportunities. It has to be more than simply a plan to do a certain amount of calls per day. You have to start thinking about where the areas of influence or people you know so that when you make a plan it's got to have more than just one area. For at Assurance we require all of our sales people to at least have four areas where they begin to look for leads and opportunities. Cold calling is one of those areas. A second area is trade shows. Third is networking events. And fourth is associations and association meetings. For each of these areas, our sales force has certain monthly and weekly goals that they adhere to. They all have written plans and they all extradosed plans at a week to week and month to month basis. This is Tony Chimino giving you a little bit of information on how to create a business plan to sell insurance.
