Hi, my name is Colette Ellis. I'm an executive coach, founder of Instep Consulting and author of "Focus On Your Vision," and today I'm going to share some fun ideas on how you can decorate a co-worker's desk. Are you and your team members tired of the bland boring office decor? Well here's a couple of ideas on how you can spice things up and recognize a team member in the process. So first think of a major work milestone that someone has achieved. Did someone just land a major client deal? In that case you may want to share dollar sign confetti or some other pictures of the client logos to recognize that achievement. Or you can focus on more personal achievements like birthdays and anniversaries. It's really easy to find those things at your local 99 cent store or party supply store. If you're a little bit concerned about intruding on someone's personal space, consider decorating the conference room or some other common location. It's also a great way to keep it as a surprise. So those are a couple of ideas to help you decorate a co-worker's desk. Let me know in the comments below if this information was helpful for you and feel free to share any ideas that you come up with on your own. This is Coach Colette sharing tips and ideas to help you be happier in the workplace.
