Hi, I'm Lori Riviere with shortcutstofabulous.com and we're in sunny Miami, Florida at the fabulous Touch boutique. And today, I'm going to show you how to pack a suit in a carry-on. Alright, gentlemen start your engines, it's time to get ready and learn how to pack a suit in the carry-on. So, you're going to take your suit jacket and you're actually going to turn it inside out, like so. So, you're going to just turn it inside out and then you're going to take one, one shoulder and you're going to put it in the other shoulder, like so. Okay? And once you do that you'll see that the suit sorts of creates this fold by itself and then you're going to take the arms and you're going to fold them over. And what you're going to do is when you do this, the shoulder pads are going to create sort of a bulge here. So, you're going to want to stuff something in so it's the same width all the way around. So, I like to take the shirt that whatever men is going to sleep in and you take that t-shirt and you stuff inside. So, now, the shoulder pads and all the way through the, the neckline are all one width. And then, you're just going to take and you're going to very carefully roll everything up. You're going to roll it like this and if you find, if you, if you don't have a lot of stuff going on in your suitcase or this is the first thing that you're packing, what you can do is you can actually take like a rubber band or something and rubber it around. And then, you're just going to put it in your suitcase. And then for the pants it's so much easier. You're going to take your pants and you're going to take them at the, the bottom hemline and you're going to lay them out flat and you're going to do the same thing. You're going to start with the hem, the cuff and you're just going to roll and roll very carefully and just continue to roll those pants up. Continue to roll and when you get to the waistline, you have your pants rolled up, like so and you're going to put them in your luggage. Now, when you get to your destination, I recommend that the first thing that you do is you unpack the suit and hang it up properly. So, when you unpack, you're just going to take it, you're going to unroll it, you're going to fold it on the hanger and you're going to hang it up in the bathroom. When you take a shower, whatever wrinkles are there are going to sort of steam out. So, take as hot of a shower as you can stand. And then you're going to do the same with the suit jacket. So, you're going to unroll it, you're going to take the t-shirt out; this is your sleeping t-shirt and you're going to take the sleeves, turn them right side out and you're going to hang the jacket up in the closet or in the bathroom if you need to take some wrinkles out. And this is going to get you a suit with no wrinkles that's perfect for business traveling. And I'm Lori Riviere with shortcutstofabulous.com.
