Hi I'm Kelly from Wildyarns.com in Denver, Colorado. I'm going to show you how to remove a hat from straight needles. To remove a knitted hat from straight needles you will complete your decreases until you have the desired number of stitches. I have eight stitches here. You will take your yarn and cut it leaving at least a 12 inch tail. You'll thread the yarn through a tapestry needle and then starting with the stitch that's the furtherest from the pointed end of your knitting needle, you'll start putting your tapestry needle through each stitch. Make sure that you catch each stitch. You'll pull this through. Once it's pulled all the way through you can remove your knitting needle. Pull it tight and then you'll seam up the side. And that's how to remove a knitted hat from straight needles. I'm Kelly from Wildyarns.com in Denver, Colorado. Thanks for watching and happy knitting.
