Hi, my name is Allie Herzog Danziger. I'm the President and Founder of Integrate Public Relations, a PR agency based in Houston, Texas that specializes in social and digital media. So, today we're going to talk about the advantages of using Tumblr for a business. For our perspective as a PR agency, we've used it numerous times to both promote what we're doing, as well as things that our clients are doing. It's an extremely popular site, with over 46.2 million blogs, growing by 300 million users per day. It's incredible, the audience that's there. 55 percent of that audience is under 34 years old. So, if you have a business, a product, a service that you're trying to get to this niche audience, this is a perfect platform to do it. It's incredibly visual, as we've seen with the popularity of Pinterest and Instagram, visual social media sites are incredibly important, and Tumblr makes it very easy to view and share pictures and blog posts that are very pretty to look at. There's hundreds of customizable themes, so it's really easy to customize this to your brand, to your image, to whatever it is that you're trying to really get across in your Tumblr blog. It's free, so, free is always good at whether you're creating a Tumblr blog from a person or a business. It's really easy to use, both from your desktop or computer, as well as on the go. So, being able to actually post a blog post, as well as share and view it from your mobile device is incredibly valuable and powerful, because you're able to just get to a much wider audience that way. And, it's measurable, so it integrates really well with Google Analytics, so businesses are able to see what type of traffic they're getting to their blog, as well as to their site from their blog. So, we love this site. We've used it, again, for our business, from South by Southwest, to keep our clients in the know of what we were doing, as well as for various fashion clients that we work with to showcase the different products that they sell.
