Hi I'm Chase Thompson-Baugh with Simply Mac, your local source for everything Apple. We're a Utah based Apple specialist with eight stores in Utah, Idaho and Wyoming and today we're going to show you some more quick tips on the iPad that I know you're just going to love. So now I'm going to show you how you can print from your iPad to Google printing services. So the iPad is a great productivity tool. So for instance I can come here to pages and I can create really awesome documents and there are several other applications out there to create really rich vivid content but when it comes time to print these things, it may become a little bit more of a challenge. So if I tap share and print, print, if I select a printer, you may notice that there are a couple printers that I may be able to use but typically in most homes you won't be able to find a printer unless you bought an air print specific printer, one that specifically works with your iPad. So that's not all that appealing for a lot of people. So there is actually an application out there called Print Central Pro. Print Central prints to pretty much any printer out there. So if you are in Print Central and you open up a document, tap on the print icon and it will actually show you all of your available printers, no special setup needed. Now what we can do as well is we can set up a service called Google Print. If you're not familiar with Google Print, basically what it does is it's a Cloud service, it makes your printer available on the Cloud. So if you have a home printer and you need to print something from your office to your home printer, well normally that's really complicated. You have to set up a printer server but with Cloud Print we can tie your printer into the Cloud Print service and then you can print from anywhere in the world. It's very easy to set up, you just tap try it now, sign in with your Google account and you can set up your printer. If you have a printer that connects to WiFi directly, then it's very simple to set up and you don't have to set up with another computer. Now Print Central here on the iPad can talk to Google Print so that you can print to any printer you want. So if you tap this, you'll notice that Google Cloud Printing is not an option here. So what I want to do is tap this plus, it may be a little bit difficult to see but tap plus and then we have some services here. You'll notice Google Cloud is one of those services. If you've already set up your printer with Google Cloud online, then all you have to do is put in your Gmail address or your Google address, type in your password and tap save, then when we came back, the printer that we want would be listed right there and you can print any document to any place. Again I'm Chase Thompson-Baugh with Simply Mac and I've shown you how you can use your iPad to print to Google Cloud Services.
