Hi, my name is Marija. I'm a mathematician, and today I'm going to tell you what the length, the width and height of a cube are. So the length, width and height of a cube are it's three dimensions. So we're going to go ahead and draw a cube which we know is made of faces that are all squares and when I am talking about the length of a cube I'm talking about this dimension right here. When I'm talking about the width I am talking about how far back it goes so that is my width and when I'm talking about the height I am talking about how high my cube is. So these are my three dimensions, length, width and height. But like I said I know that a cube is made up of six faces that are all squares which means that my length, width and height are actually in a cube going to be all the same. So if it's 3 inches long then it's also 3 inches high and it's also 3 inches wide and you can use the length, width and height of a cube to find its volume. So that's one important formula to know about a cube is that the volume is the length times the width times the height but again like I said they're all the same so you can technically just say that it is one of the sides cubed because we are multiplying it by itself 3 times. So length, width and height of a cube are it's 3 dimensions and they are all the same. My name is Marija and I just told you what the length, width and height of a cube are.
