Hi, my name is Julia, and I'm going to show you six ways to divide a square. Meaning how to divide a square into six equal parts. It's not going to divide into six squared. We're going to have rectangle in the end. Well we'll start out by drawing a square. And what you want to do is divide it into thirds vertically. So right now we have three even parts roughly. It's hand drawn. And then you find the mid point of the left side and the midpoint of the right side and you connect them. So what we have now are one, two, three, four, five, six different parts. They're equal size, they each have a width of one-third of the side of the square and they have a length of one half of the side of the square. That's how you divide the square into six equal parts. My name is Julia. Thank you.
