Hi, my name is Caroline Ceniza-Levine. I'm a former recruiter and now I'm a career coach with SixFigureStart where I show the inside story into how the hiring process really works and what employers really want. So the question is what skills should a marketing coordinator have? So there are two operative words here, marketing and coordination. So with marketing this person is going to work on all of the activities that essentially help a company market to their audience. So we're talking advertising, PR, promotions, events and they are going to be coordinating. So they'll be scheduling meetings, helping to organize the events, researching new ideas, drafting reports and presentations. So a good marketing coordinator is going to have incredible attention to detail. They will be able to work on multiple assignments, meet deadlines, work with different people and know computer software like PowerPoint so they do their presentations, Microsoft Word so they can do their reports and Excel if they need to track budget or numbers.
