Federal grandchildren health insurance coverage laws. Hello, I'm Robert Todd, and I'm here to talk about federal grandchild health insurance coverage laws and what's happening today is more and more grandparents are finding that they are raising their grandchildren and at a point where the grandparents have retired from work and no longer are entitled to group health insurance programs to cover family members such as grandchildren and therefore, they are having to look at alternative sources. Well, the good news is there are alternative sources in all 50 states. There is a CHIPRA law and also Medicaid that enable grandparents to apply and qualify for health insurance programs that cover their grandchildren despite the fact that the grandparents are no longer working and if you have a question about what is available in your state, call your state insurance department and find out what you have to do to enroll grandchildren in such a program. I'm Robert Todd, and that's Federal Grandchildren Insurance Laws. Thank you for watching.
