Here are a few tips to prevent breakable items from falling out of cabinets. You can use museum wax; place it on the bottom of the object and then, put that directly on the shelf, it'll stick directly to the shelf. You could also safety proof your cabinets by installing secure latches, either the earthquake safety type or also child latches work just as well. Another thing to do is remove large objects to a lower shelf so they won't fall and hurt someone.
