Hi, I'm Angharad Jones with The Urban Craft Center in Santa Monica, California, and I'm going to show you how to make a dirty or grubby looking candle, something along the lines like this. So I used a votive candle for mine so it's fairly little and easy to work with. I have a little plate full of dirt and a little cup with some more in order to pour over the top. So I have my votive candle and I have some wax that I've melted on the side. So I'm going to start by dipping my candle in the wax so I coat it and then I'm going to just roll it in the dirt and I'm going to take the dirt that's in the cup and pour it over the top. So that's my first layer and I'm going to knock off the extra dirt and I'm going to dip it back in my wax and then I'm going to do it again and then knock off the wax, dip it one more time and voila, a grubby dirty looking candle. This is Angharad Jones from The Urban Craft Center in Santa Monica, California. Happy crafting.
