Hi, my name is Wandia. I'm a digital media aficionado which means I love to geek out on all things digital, that's social media marketing, mobile media marketing, the whole nine. You can find out more at www.wandia.info. Today, I want to talk about how to build a buzz with your Twitter account. So I have two tips for you, one is post great content and post often. Typically, you want to post about once an hour, not too much more than that or else you'll fill up your friends or followers Twitter streams and then they'll quickly unfollow you. So I'd say, try to post once every hour at the top of the hour or you can vary it though to see if people will respond at different times of the day. I typically find that I get the highest response right around nine o'clock in the morning between seven and nine o'clock and about four o'clock in the evening and I'm on Pacific standard time so I think the reason I get some buzz around nine o'clock is because it's around lunchtime for people on the East Coast, 7 a.m. because it's relatively early on the Pacific time and around noon Pacific Standard time I'll typically get a little more buzz but I would say just check it out with different people, test out different things and see what your followers react to. Here is my Twitter time line as you can see I typically you know, wouldn't post more than once every hour so I try to post content that I find is valuable or informative or stuff that I have verified as actually good information and helpful information like this to do list for the first time entrepreneur. Definitely when I ready the article I thought that was helpful and if someone was an entrepreneur and starting out I'd say those are some really good tips. I'll typically retweet stuff from people that I value or people I like. This is a great post by Maji Mazuri, a nonprofit organization in Africa that I support and love and they're talking about a complex world calls for a new face of technology.
