Hello. I'm Jamie Jay with stampsbydesign.com, maker of affordable, clear custom stamps. In this video I will be sharing with you two New Years card ideas. Take a look. Some supplies you may need to create your New Years card include markers, card stock, colored paper, maybe patterned paper. You may choose to use stickers, rhinestones. There are other embellishments as well. So to create this card, I just folded a piece of card stock in half then added colored circles of paper to the background using adhesive. After that, I used my blue marker to write Happy New Year across the bottom. One thing to keep in mind when creating a New Years card is that it should be bright, colorful and I've added some rhinestones for glitter. The funner the better. Alright, so I added a piece of red card stock to the bottom just to add some more color and on the back I have stamped created for you by Jamie Jay. It's a Stamps by Design stamp. And just to add even more flair, I've added orange marker across to make a border and added personalize stitching. Okay, the second card. It's another Happy New Year's card which I've written in marker across the center. I then cut a piece of patterned paper using scissors just free handed it and adhered it to the card. Next I used an orange marker and added little detailing across the zig zag paper mark. I thought the card needed something else so I added little pieces of red paper cut to the shape of confetti. Just randomly cut. Not perfect squares. Now I added a party horn to the bottom as you can see. I outlined it in blue marker so that it stood out against the card. Now to create the rolled effect, you would want to take a piece of paper, preferably card stock since it rolls better, and just roll it across a pencil or other similar shaped object. When you remove the object, you'll have your curled piece of paper. And that's it. I'm Jamie Jay with stampsbydesign.com and I showed you two New Years card that you can create at home.
