Hi. My name is David Alemian. I've been a life insurance agent for over 16 years. I'm also a life insurance agent trainer, and a life insurance agent recruiter. Today, we're going to talk about insurance sales training. You know, insurance sales training covers a wide aspect of things. For example, there's product training, there's concept training, and there are sales techniques. The best thing that you can do is find someone at an agency, say an agency manager, who will take you under their wing and teach you and train you personally, one-on-one. That can be the best training that you can find. Go to classes that the agency may put on. Seminars and workshops. You know, product training, well, it's pretty obvious. It's training about products, because you're going to need to know the ins and outs of the different products. But it's not all about products, because there's also concepts. This is the sales training that teaches technique, and teaching why the people buy a particular type of insurance. It boils down to the use of insurance. A concept would be about using insurance as a retirement vehicle, or using insurance as a college funding vehicle, and so on. And then finally, there's actual sales training - sales techniques. That's universal, these techniques, to all types of sales. It's an ongoing process that never ends. There are fundamentals, and then there are things that go beyond the fundamentals. So that's really what insurance sales training is all about. Find someone who is good at it. Copy them. Ask them to teach you. Pick their brains. Go to workshops and seminars whenever you can, and pretty soon, someday, you might find that you become the trainer. My name is David Alemian. Thank you for watching this video.
