Before starting, be sure your tools are clean, sharp and in good working order. Check tire pressure and check your bolts to make sure they're tight. A wheel barrow is used to move materials form one location to another. When loading a wheel barrow, be sure it's on a stable surface. Also, be sure to distribute the weight evenly within the barrow. When moving a load, be sure that you have a firm grip on both handles. Approach the desired area, be sure the ground and your footing are stable, then lift the handles to dump. Do not overload, heavy materials such as sand or rock may require, that you not fill the barrow completely. Be sure to clean your barrow before putting it away, to prevent rust and decay.
