Hi, I'm Isaac Rodriguez. I'm a business consultant. The question I have today is, "When should I get a 1099-INT form?" The 1099-INT form you would receive when you've been paid interest on investments. It's one of the ways that you would get a 1099-INT. So, your bank account, if you have a savings account, or you have an investment account in a money market or some other interest-bearing instrument, then at the end of the year, you would have gotten some interest income that you will need to report for your taxes. And, the provider of the product - the investment vehicle that you're gaining interest on - will send you the 1099-INT that reports how much interest they pay to you on your investment. This 1099-INT you will give to your accountant and incorporate in your tax returns. Or, if you're doing it yourself, you'll do it yourself. I'm Isaac Rodriguez, business consultant.
