Hi, my name's Leslie Reichert, and I'm "The Cleaning Coach." And today, I'm going to show you how you can clean out your kitchen drain with just a couple simple ingredients. If you like this tip, you can go to my website, GreenCleaningCoach.com, for more. So, whether you drain is clogged, or it just feels like there's something that's slowed down, I'm going to show you a quick way to get it to go down. So, what I'm going to do is, I'm going to take two or three tablespoons of baking soda, and I'm going to put it right down the drain. And, what this is is, baking soda's a natural lifter, so what it's going to do is go down there and actually lift off some of the stuff that might be stuck on the pipes. On top of that, we're going to add some vinegar. Watch this. This is better than any kind of drain cleaner that you can buy in the grocery store. Can here it down there. Isn't that great? So, what I would do if I were at home, I'd leave it sit for maybe 30 minutes or longer. And then, you're going to flush it with hot, hot water. This is a tea kettle, we have already put it to boil, and we're going to put the hot water down, and that's going to flush everything all the way down through the system. It's amazing. If you have a clog, it's going to be unclogged. It's simple, and it's easy to use. It's safe for your pipes, it's safe for you. Simple tips, and you can see them more at GreenCleaningCoach.com. My name's Leslie Reichert. Happy cleaning!
