Hi I'm Charlie Kasov. I'm a math teacher and today we're going to learn types of angles, figures, and shapes. So lets start with angles. If you have an angle that is less than 90 degrees then it's called acute. If you have an angle that equals 90 degrees, then it's called right. If you have an angle that's greater than 90 degrees, that's called obtuse. So those are your three types of angles. Now for shapes, any 3 sided figure that's closed is called a triangle. Any 4 sided figure, just a random one like this, that's closed, is called a quadrilateral. Now there's types of quadrilaterals. For example if 2 lines are parallel here and 2 lines are parallel here, that's called a parallelogram. Never easy to spell. Now if these 4 sides and 2 parallel lines are all right angles, like this, you have a rectangle. If the 4 right angles and 2 parallel lines, if the sides are all equal? Then it's a square. So I'm Charlie Kasov. You just learned some basic types of angles and shapes and figures, thank you.
