Hi my name is Leslie Reichert and I'm the cleaning coach. I'm the author of The Joy of Green Cleaning. And you can see more of what I do at greencleaningcoach.com. Today what we are going to do is I'm going to make up the recipe for a stainless steel cleaner. And this recipe is from my book. But it's very simple, four simple ingredients. And we are going to put them together and you can use this on a stainless steel stove, refrigerator, any appliance you have. So we are going to start off with one cup of baking soda. And then we are going to use a quarter cup of lemon juice. Now you can just use the concentrate. I just have a little one here so we are going to use a quarter cup of that. And it's actually going to foam up when I mix this with the baking soda. And then what we are going to use is borax. And borax is a natural booster. This is something you may have seen in great grandma's laundry room. But this is borax and it's a booster. I'm going to use three tablespoons of borax. And then I'm going to put some club soda in here and turn it into a thick paste. And this is going to be great. I have a friend of mine who has a beautiful stainless steel stove. And her husband has tried everything to try and get the grease buildup off of that stove. And this mixture as a paste took everything off that the fancy stuff in the hardware store wouldn't. So as you can see it's kind of a thick paste, mix that all together. And then you are just going to use a rag, rub it into the stainless steel. I'm just going to go down inside the stainless steel and clean it really deep and then you wipe it off, rinse it off. And you can even use club soda in a spray bottle to spritz it and make it nice and clean. So again four simple ingredients baking soda, borax, club soda, and lemon juice. Mix them all together and you can clean anything that's stainless steel. My name is Leslie Reichert and I'm the cleaning coach. And you can visit greencleaningcoach.com for more tips and tricks from my book. The name of my book is The Joy of Clean Cleaning. And I wish you happy cleaning.
