Hi, I'm Tina Gill with Worthwhile Style. And today, I'm going to give you a few tips on how to dress down a suit. So basically in the suit world the less detail you have the dressier the suit is. So to dress a suit down what you want to do is add a little bit more detail. So what I did here lets start with a shirt underneath. I popped in a little T-shirt in here. So instead of like a satin little cami that you would normally wear or a white buttoned down shirt that you would normally wear, I put a soft cotton black tee under. It doesn't get more casual then that. So as far as details go I added a long necklace here and since it's bigger and chunkier, and a brighter color it's a lot more casual then what you would normally wear to the office. Another thing that I did is add a belt here at the hips. This also is going to add more of a casual look. It's big and chunky and adds extra interest and detail to this outfit. So overall it gives it a much more casual look then what you would wear to like a corporate meeting. Another option especially for women since you can separate your suits is to take the jacket off and add a different jacket. And this is a great way to mix and match and get a lot of bang for your buck when you invest in a nice suit. So just by changing out the jacket it gives it a completely different look. Still super fun, still put together but definitely a more casual look then your basic black suit. So as you can see adding details and interest and bigger chunkier pieces like this necklace and this belt is a great way to dress down a suit. I'm Tina Gill with Worthwhile Style thanks for watching.
