Hi, my name is Jessica and I'm an artist, and today we're going to draw mountains step by step. So we're going to take our bluish, grayish marker. It doesn't really matter if it's blue or gray or black because these mountains are going to be in the background. So step one we're going to take our line and we're going to bring it up, just like that, just at a nice arc and then bring it back down, pretty simple right? We're going to do that a few times but when we do the second one we're going to bring our line up a little more. This line is going to come up a little and then come back down. Yeah, it's that easy. Then we're going to do it one more time. This one is going to start a little lower. It's going to be a little bit of a short mountain like that. So as you can see these mountains are kind of, they're rolling, there's one and then one behind that and then one behind that. So say you want your, this mountain here to be behind these two. We're just going to take that one line away, that's why we always dry with erasable markers and pencils. You're going to put the line in front of it like that. Now instantly the mountain is behind it. So, let's review, lines up, comes down, another one goes up, comes up, another one goes up, comes down. And you can do that as much as you want. You can fill the whole page like that, have them go all the way across. Say you want to have just one long mountain, you're just going to make your lines longer so it will go up, up, maybe it will come down for a second, up, and then just head back down just like that. Pretty easy, and then of course you can go in with your color and give it a little bit of shading, give the mountain a little bit of dimension, put a little bit of color. So if the light is shining on this side, the shade is going to be on this side. So, I'm just going to go in and color it in, just give it a little color just like that, and then on this side you can make it maybe a lighter blue or whiter or even green, right, if you want your mountains to be very full of trees and nature. And that's how you draw mountains step by step.
