Hey guys, it's Chris here and today I'm going to show you how to draw a soldier in combat. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to start off with the helmet here and I'm just going to kind of draw a half circle and then kind of bring that around and then the front of the helmet is going to have a little bit of a dip in there so you're just going to have a little bit of a bill but not too much. I'm going to color this in with my green marker and then what I'm going to do is I'm going to take my handy white marker and I'm going to draw the face here and the top of the face is going to be a little bit under the helmet so I'm just going to start off with the nose and bring down the chin and you've got a little bit of an ear kind of hiding under there and the eye and then bring back down the back of the neck starting a little bit in from the back of the helmet and kind of bring this down and that's going to be the end of the shirt there and now for the shirt I'm going to take back my green marker and I'm going to start right about here and bring a line down just like that for the shoulder and along the back and now he's going to be holding a gun so what I'm going to do is I'm going to bring this line kind of in. That's his elbow right there and then another line down the side just for where his kind of his armpit is right there, maybe do some folds in the fabric and this is the end of the shirt and then for the hand, bring back the white marker and I'm just going to do a thumb there and just kind of draw the hand just like that. I'm going to finish off the back and bring this along for the coat that he's wearing, other shoulder and then bring that down just like that, maybe you want to do some folds that you can do, bring the pants down and along like that. There we go. And then the other leg maybe is just a little bit in front. So bring that in and kind of an arc at the bottom for the bottom of the pant leg and then this is the other end of the jacket. Maybe he has like a canteen or something that he's holding in the back so I'm going to just draw a little quick canteen there, finish off the boots and actually I'm going to use my white marker for this here and you can just draw boots kind of going down like this, just like that and the other one kind of the same. Now this one is going to be more in front so, alright and now we have the gun so what I'm going to do is I'm just going to draw a line going across like that. Actually this marker is kind of going out a little bit so I'm going to take my yellow and go across like that, just like that, bring a line down for the other part of the gun and got to get the other hand in there so I'm going to take my green marker again and get the white. Let's do the other hand and he's shooting. There you go guys. You can put folds in the pants, do whatever you want but that's how you draw a soldier in combat so good luck and stay creative.
