Hey guys, Chris here, and today I'm going to show you how to draw a child sitting at a school desk. So the first thing I'm going to do is the desk here. Bring a line going up just like that. Line going down like that. Line here and then I'm going to kind of fill this guy in here. And then, from this corner, I'm going to bring a angled line going down and the same thing but a little bit in from the corner here. Gonna do that and they're both going to reach the same point at the ground. Then I'm going to take a line and connect those two legs just like that. So that we have a profile view of the desk. Now what I'm going to do is I'm going to draw the chair. I'm going to start up from about here and just going to draw a kind of a, a little bit of a bended line going down and stopping at the same point as the desk and then I'm going to draw a line going at a little short bit of an angle but not too bad. Going up just like that and then a straight line going down here that's meeting at the same point and then I'm going to do a line going across. So now we have the chair and the desk. I'm going to take my handy white marker and I'm going to draw a kid for ya now. What I'm going to do is I'm going to start with the, the place where he's sitting. So I'm going to draw a little bit of an arc there and kind of have it go up like this just a bit. The leg's going down like this. Maybe it's going underneath the chair. And his shoes there. Here's his knee. And if you wanted to kind of make a couple squiggles you can show the folds in the fabric there like that. His knee kind of comes up like this. And then you have his pants line. Maybe his other foot is kind of extended a little bit. So, kind of bring that out just like that. And, maybe he is reading a book or something so, for his head, draw like a quick kind of rounded top there. Then I'm going to draw an ear and I'm going to draw his arm here. His elbow is resting kind of on the desk and there's his armpit. Got the top of his sleeve and stops about there. Now, he's holding the book so here's his thumb and his hand's kind of going underneath where the book would be. Gonna draw just a straight sharp line for the book and then maybe a couple more to show the pages. And then I'm going to do a quick line going down. Little nose and just a kind of drop down for the chin. Now maybe he's got a little bit of a Mohawk or maybe he's got a fro or something. So you can kind of just draw something' like that. Just give him a little bit of hair. For the eye just do pretty simple eye like he's, he's reading' and a mouth. And that's how you draw a kid looking, reading a book at school desk so good luck guys and stay creative.
