Hey guys, this is Chris here. And today I'm going to show you how to draw just the head of a raven. Now, so what I'm going to do is I'm going to start off with a line that kind of goes up and arks forward just a little bit, just like that. And this is the top of the head. And what I'm going to do is I'm going to do a very straight line diagonally, going like that. This is for the top of the beak. Another line underneath, going just like that. And for when you get underneath where the, kind of the underneath of the chin of the bird, you don't want to make it as much as an ark as the top. You want to kind of make sure that it's a little bit less intense. So, then just being that along and then over here would be the body. and what I'm going to do is I'm going to take a line and kind of follow it a little bit closer to the bottom of the beak, instead of the top. Or, and don't make, don't to the line in the middle for the mouth, because it's going to look a little unnatural. So make sure you follow a little bit along the line of the bottom. You can do a little bit of a, of an incline with that line when you get more towards where the facial features would be. And do a little nostril there if you want. And then of course, the eyes. And what you can do with the eyes is just fill them in just like that and leave a little bit of room for a highlight underneath. You can do some feathers, just some kind of flourishes to show where the feathers are, and especially around the beak to show like where the beak begins and the feathers stop. And of course like as you would get along the body, you could always make the feathers a little bit bigger. But when they're in the head, it's important to just show the facial features instead of showing all of the feathers that the bird has and kind of distract from that. And of course, I'm doing a raven, but you can do any kind. This works pretty much for most birds that are out there. Of course there's a lot of them that look different. But there are a lot that do have these same facial features that you can use it for. All right guys. And that is how you draw the head of a raven, so good luck and stay creative, Enjoy.
