Hello everyone, Christina here. Today, I'm going to show you how to make a mask out of carrots, a mask that will certainly help to brighten your skin, tighten it and leave it rejuvenated. Let's get started. For our materials we're going to be using a small mixing bowl, a whisk, spoon and measuring spoons. For ingredients we're going to be using lemon juice, raw organic honey and of course our main ingredient, carrots. So I'm going to start with the lemon juice and measure out about a half a teaspoon of that into my mixing bowl. lemon juice is very acidic, a natural exfoliant and will help clear any acne and inflammation in the skin. Now I choose to use raw and organic honey simply because it's in its purest form. So you get all of the benefits honey offers which are brightening of the skin, nourishing and a great glow. So we're going to measure a tablespoon of honey. Raw organic honey can be pretty tough to use but it actually breaks down a bit once it's warm. So going to be a little sticky at first but I assure you, it will warm up and be a lot easier to mix. So lastly our main ingredient, the carrots. Now what I did to cut corners here instead of peeling and steaming carrots, was I simply went out and purchased organic carrot baby food at the grocery store. I'm going to measure about half of the cup which equals to two tablespoons of carrot. Now carrots are known to be high in vitamin A so they're going to brighten the skin and tighten it and help with anti-aging as well. So now that I've got my ingredients in the bowl, we're going to begin to mix everything together. Again, at first it will be a little sticky due to the honey but give it about a minute and the materials should break down. Your mask should look something like this, not too thin, not too thick, a workable paste that's easy to place on your face. Once your mixing is complete, you're going to apply and leave on the face for five minutes avoiding the eye and lip area. Rinse with a warm washcloth. You'll start to notice it gets a bit dry and sticky after about five minutes, so definitely time to rinse off. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. Have a great day. Thanks for watching.
