Hi everyone, Christina here. Oatmeal isn't just a great breakfast food anymore. It actually makes for a really wonderful homemade mask, perfect for sensitive skin and normal skin. It's not only nourishing but has wonderful exfoliation properties as well. Let me show you how to make an easy five minute mask at home that can leave your skin looking beautiful and nourished. First things first, we're going to start with the main ingredient, oatmeal. I'm going to take two tablespoons and place it into my bowl and of course, enjoy the rest for breakfast if you'd like. The next step I'm going to take half of a day old banana and place it into my bowl. Bananas are really nourishing as well as hydrating and offer wonderful vitamin benefits to the skin. Next step we're going to take a mashed up avocado that I removed earlier and this is half of an avocado. Alright so next step I'm going to take about a teaspoon of cinnamon and place it into the bowl. Cinnamon has wonderful circulatory benefits so it helps to bring blood into the face and rejuvenate the skin. Grab a homemade potato masher. If you don't have one of these in your kitchen, you can use a fork, knife, or spoon of you'd like, whatever is going to help mash everything together and blend it. So I'm going to give this just a few light mashes. Now even though oatmeal is the star of this mask, avocado is a close second as it helps to really nourish the skin. This is a great mask for someone who has sensitive skin or suffering from any sunburn. The mask is going to be pretty thick and chunky after it's all said and done. Take a look at that texture. Alright, so the mask should only take a few minutes to mix all the materials together. When you're finished, apply to clean skin for about five to ten minutes, rinse with a warm wash cloth and of course, you want to avoid the eye and face area during the application of the mask. When it's complete, you'll reveal beautiful, glowing and hydrated skin. This is Christina. I hope you enjoyed.
