Hello everyone. My name is Christina and today I am going to show you how to make homemade coconut oil lotion. I'm going to be using extra virgin olive oil and I'm also going to be using coconut oil, two very simple household ingredients that you can find both have wonderful hydration benefits as well as anti-aging benefits. So it's going to protect your skin from sagging but also give it a really great glow. So, here's what you have to do, mix just a few drops of the olive oil into the bowl. It comes out to be a little over a tablespoon and then I'm going to add about a tablespoon and a half of coconut oil, scrape it into your bowl like so and begin to mix. Now, the coconut oil initially will get a little chunky when you start to mix but once it warms up a bit it works down into a really fine paste. Just tap your whisk to make sure that you get all of the coconut oil out and now we can start to see that it's breaking down a bit. You're going to want to do this for about a minute or two minutes, let it warm up and then apply to your body. There you go. So once this paste is created, you're going to later all over your body. Now the difference between this as opposed to regular store bought lotions is these ingredients have essential oils so it takes a little bit longer to absorb. So don't be worried if in five minutes you still have a little bit of an oily surface to your skin. I promise it will blend in. So that's it. Thank you for watching. I hope you enjoyed. I'm Christina.
