Hi, I'm Kino MacGregor. We're here at Miami Life Center. Today, we're going to be taking a look at how to prevent slipping on a yoga mat. Once you start practicing yoga your hands often really get sweaty so the rubber that's on the mat can sometimes be a little slippery if you find yourself sweating a lot. The easiest thing to do is to grab a cotton mat, place it on top of your rubber mat, open it up. Once these get on your mat they actually have to be a little bit wet before they can prevent the slipping. So if you're sweating a lot, use one of these but make sure it gets nice and wet. If you're right on your rubber mat and you're not sweating, then it's sticky enough just as it is. I'm Kino MacGregor and you've been watching how to prevent slipping on a yoga mat.
