Hi, I'm Kristen Packard and today I'm going to talk to you about how long you can keep your lipstick. Once you purchase a product, you're going to want to look for the symbol on the package that says what the expiration date is on it. If there's a symbol that says 6M or 12M that means that the self life on it is six months or twelve months. If the lipstick starts to develop any odd odors or the texture of the lipstick starts to change, that's probably a good time to get rid of the lipstick and go in and get a new color for fall or for spring. A great place to keep your lipsticks is in a cool, dry place. Make sure to never bring your lipstick into a hot car or leave it outside because if you do that sometimes it can change the product and make the different layers of the ingredients separate. So once again, my name's Kristen Packard and today I've talked to you about how long you can keep an open lipstick on your shelf. Thanks for watching.
