Hi, I'm Kristen Packard, and today I'm going to talk to you about how to get rid of red eye shadow stains. If you are encountering a red stain on your lid after you wear an eye shadow, it most likely means that you're having a reaction to the pigment int he eye shadow. My best recommendation would be to take the eye shadow and first apply a little swap of it on the inside of your wrist. Let that sit for about 20 minutes and see if you have any reaction. Most commonly you'll have reactions with red eye shadows because they tend to have a lot of pigment in the color. So if you have a problem with having some stains on your lids after you've applied your eye shadow what you want to do is either take a really gentle mild eye makeup remover or a gentle lotion, just apply a little bit on your hands like this, take a Q tip and just slide that right over the eye. That will take off any of the excess product as well as soothe your lid. So I'm just taking this Q tip, applying a little bit of the lotion on it and removing any of that excess product. So if you're still seeing inflammation on your lid after you've removed the product, a nice trick is to hold an ice cube up to your lid and just apply it for a few seconds at a time to help reduce that inflammation. I'm Kristen Packard and again to reiterate, what we've done is taken a Q tip and a gentle eye makeup remover or lotion and removed the product form the lid and then applied an ice cube to help with inflammation. Thanks so much for watching.
