Hi, I'm Jae from and I'm here with Rachelle to show you if you should wear straight jeans or skinny jeans with your boots. Now when it comes to wearing your boots over your jeans, you always want to pick a skinny jean. That's because it'll give you the straightest line down to the bottom of the shoe which is going to make you look taller and leaner. This is especially important if you're choosing a boot that has a lot of interest. These boots have ruching and a deep V in the front which means you really want to a straight line. If you were going a straighter leg jean you'd probably get a little bunching around the top and you'd lose some of that interest. Another thing to take into consideration is that if you're to wear jeans that have more fabric you'll get puckering and puffing around the top of the boot and that kind of gives a pirate effect. We don't want that. So skinny jeans are always best. If you are most comfortable in a straight leg jean, choose a boot that has less interest and a wider opening at the top so that the jeans go seamlessly down into the boot. And that's the type of jeans you should be wearing with your tall boots. I'm Jae from No More Mom Jeans and we'll see you next time.
