Hi. I'm Bob Holcomb from Apex Automotive in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. Today, we're going to talk about some of the warning indicators on your dash, especially the fuel gauge warning indicator. The fuel gauge tells how much gasoline is in your gas tank. On most cars there's an LED or light emitting dial that will come on when the fuel becomes close to empty. If this light comes on, it's a good idea to find a gas station. You probably have only fifteen or twenty miles worth of gas left in your car. There are other warning indicators on the dash and they're all important. If any of them should come on, you should consult your owners manual, or bring it to a certified professional who can tell you why this warning indicator is on. Once the gas gauge light comes on, it means you're close to empty. All cars are different. I guess if you wanted to, you could drive your car until it ran out of gas. And then you'd know exactly how far you could go with that gas light on. That gas warning indicator or gas gauge light, varies between models. So, some cars will have three or four gallons of gas left, some may have as little as three quarters of gallon left, which won't leave you much room for error when trying to find a gas station. And these are a couple of quick tips about your warning indicators on your dash, specifically, the fuel gauge warning indicator. I'm Bob Holcomb, from Apex Automotive in Great Barrington, Massachusetts.
