Hey, I'm Kent "The Deck Chef" Whitaker, and I'm going to show you how to do a honey barbecued grilled piece of chicken. Now what we're going to use is a chicken wing, chicken drummies, whichever one you want to call it and this will work with any kind of piece of chicken. You can use thighs, breasts, tenders, whatever you want to do. We're going to employ the good old fashioned Shake N Bake method for this. What we're going to do is add just a little bit of salt, a little bit of pepper, just like the old classic Shake N Bake recipe, a little bit of ginger, adds great into that taste of the honey and just a little bit of parsley. Once you've got them all seasoned up to your liking, just take them, roll them around in there, make sure everything is nice and coated evenly, and if you need to, you can add a little bit more. Once you've got them good to go, we're going to take them and put them on the grill. Okay so we've got the chicken ready to go, got our grill fired up. We're going to hit it with a little bit of nonstick spray and all we have to do is get our chicken on the grill and while these bad boys are getting some of that flavor cooked into them, we're going to go inside, get some ingredients and get our sauce ready for these. Okay the wings are ready now, been turning them as we go. I'm going to bring these over, nice and juicy, all seasoned up with the seasoning we had. You can use any kind of seasoning you'd like just to add that extra flavor, and this is where the honey comes into play. So all you need to do is get some honey, locally grown from the store, wherever you can get some. I advise not getting into the honeybee nest, a little bit of soy sauce and just a little bit of your favorite barbecue sauce, add a little bit of extra flavor to it. So you've got a nice honey barbecue glaze right there. So what you want to do is make enough to cover the amount of wings you're doing and this will all depend on how many people you're serving. I'm just going to make enough to toss these wings right here. Now you can toss them in a Ziploc bag or you can just, if you don't have a brush, just use the back of your spoon and start basting the chicken wings with your honey barbecue glaze right there, all that extra honey flavor, real sticky, real tasty, good to go.
