Hi, I'm Andrea Eldridge from Nerds On Call at And the question that we are answering today is how to remove a bad application from an iPad. There's a couple of different ways to achieve this. If you are just looking to remove it from your iPad itself, you just press and hold the icon for the app that you are trying to remove. Wait until the X's pop up. Select the X. It's going to ask you to confirm that you do in fact want to delete that app. Choose delete and it will go away. So that gets it off of your device itself. Now lets say that the application was just corrupted for one reason or another and you do want to go ahead and reinstall that back so that you can get a non corrupted version of the software. You can do that through your iTunes library. If you go hear while you are seeking your device and select the iPad under your list of devices. Choose the apps tab and check back the little check box next to the application that you just removed from your device so that when you then go down and press sync down here it will reinstall that application on your iPad. Now lets say it's an application that you just want to get rid of entirely and you don't want to appear even in your iTunes library from that point on. You are going to go up here to the apps option under library. And see your list of applications. Find the application that you want to remove and delete it from here. It will never be an option in your apps list again.
