Hi, this is Silas Hoover with South Florida Pest Control and today we're going to talk about getting rid of flies without using pesticide. First of all make sure that your outdoor area is clean, pick up all leaves, all rotting fruit from trees and any animal mess that's been left behind. This will greatly decrease the production of flies in the area. In addition you could make a honey jar, poke some holes in a standard mason jar lid, make sure the holes are large enough for a fly to get in. I use a typical screwdriver, quite simple, take some honey, pour about an eight of an inch of honey to cover the bottom of the jar, replace the lid. Now place your honey trap in any area where you have a lot of flies and a few days you'll have caught many of the flies that are there. This is Silas Hoover with South Florida Pest Control teaching you how to get flies out of your yard without using pesticide. Thank you.
