Hi, I'm David Alemian and I'm a foodie. One of the things I love to do most is to cook and to eat and today we're going to make one of my favorite recipes. We're going to make Caribbean jerk chicken and we're going to bake it. Now to do this one of our main ingredients, our chicken and jerk rub. Alright so we have our chicken and what I'm going to do is I'm just simply going to take the jerk rub and I'm going to, now wear gloves when you do this because there are habanero peppers in here and I'm going to take the jerk rub and I'm just going to rub it all over the chicken to get it underneath the skin and what we're going to do here is we're going to lift up the skin and separate it a little bit from the chicken breast and I want to get that rub all the way in there onto the rub. We take a chef's knife and insert it into the breast meat like so and we're going to just jerk our knife, just like that, just kind of make a jerk to make slits. That way when we put the marinade in it's going to get deep into the meat. Now we'll go back to putting our marinade all in here and you want to work it in there, get it deep into the slices, make sure you put some of this inside the cavity of the bird too, on the legs, on the wings, just all over it. I've got the oven at 380 degrees preheated and I just pop it in there for about an hour and a half or so, two hours, depending on the size of your chicken. And that's how to make Caribbean jerk chicken. I'm David Alemian. I'm a foodie and I'm glad you tuned into my video. Thank you.
