Hi, I'm Andrea Eldridge from Nerds on Call at Callnerds.com and today we're going to talk about how to power down and restart a locked iPod. So obviously there's two different versions of iPods depending on which one you've got. If you happen to have the classic, you're going to press down two buttons at the same time and that is your menu button and your center button from the circle, press and hold. It's going to take it a couple seconds and then the screen will go to black and it will power off. Now if you've got an iPod Touch the process is actually even a little bit simpler, this button here at the top of the device is your power button. You're going to actually press and hold that button, again give it a few seconds here and then you're going to get this option to slide to power off. If that works, great, if not you can press and hold that button for a little longer and it will do a manual shutdown.
