Hello, my name is Ed Maisonet with Krav Maga Staten Island. I am a member of the Krav Maga Federation, and my website is LifeDefenseINC.com. I'll be demonstrating three quick strikes. An all-finger strike using all the fingers of the hand, including the thumb. A palm strike, using the base of the palm. Bang! And, a whipping blow, using the base of the palm from the side of the hand. An all-finger strike using all the fingers of the hand, including the thumb: Once I've decided that I must strike the perpetrator, I will step forward into a basic stance, attack his eyes directly with bones and nails. I do not want my fingerprints on his face. I need my bones and nails to portray a message, get him to stop what he's about to do. Bang! A palm strike, using the base of the palm: Once I've decided to engage the perpetrator, I'll step into a fighting stance, use the base of my palm to strike a vulnerable target on the face, leaving my fingers available just in case there's something else to use them for. And, a whipping blow using the base of the palm from the side of the hand: Once I've decided to engage the bad guy, I'm going to use the base of my palm and the torquing of my body to attack the base of his throat with a palm strike. And, I'm taking the energy from one side of his neck, with intention to move it to the other side of his neck. Bang! My name is Ed Maisonet, and I thank you for watching.
