Hi, I'm Devra Gartenstein with Quirky Gourmet. Today I'm going to show you how to make an Asian spinach salad. It's a very simple salad. It's got some nice black sesame seeds on top to make it look good. So first I'm going to toss this pre-wash spinach with some toasted sesame oil, a little bit of soy sauce, and some rice vinegar. And rice vinegar is the best vinegar to use in Asian recipes. It's much mellower then wine vinegars that you'll use in Italian food. And a pair of tongs is a great tool to use for spinach, tossing spinach cause it really lets you get a grip on it. Now I'm going to top that with some green onions. I like to use both the tops and some of the green on the green onions. Go most of the way down here. And on top. And then some black sesame seeds. They taste very much like the white sesame seeds but they look good. And here you have an Asian spinach salad.
