Hi. I'm Bob Holcomb from Apex Automotive in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. We're going to talk a little bit today about how to repair the headliner with or ceiling material in your automobile. The headliner in most modern cars is made from the same material as your seats, or cloth based polyester synthetic type material. If something was to push against it, a broom stick, a broom handle, something of that nature, it would rip and push a portion of it away. The portion that ripped you could pull down, put some glue on the back side and just stick it back up. You would do any repair to this ceiling material that you would normally do to a seat or any other piece of cushion, similar to your couch at home. You want to be careful to try not to damage your ceiling material. It could be difficult to fix. If the material was damaged in such a way that you had to replace the entire headliner, it could be pricey. We wouldn't want to do that. The care and maintenance of a ceiling material, is just like you would care for your car seat. You could vacuum the material and use a mild cleanser if you had a stain, similar to the way you would remove a stain from a carpet. These are a couple of quick tips about your car's headliner or ceiling material. I'm Bob Holcomb from Apex Automotive, in Great Barrington, Massachusetts.
