Hi, I'm Bob Holcomb from Apex Automotive in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. And here's a couple of quick tips on how to save gas while driving your vehicle. Tip number one, would be, leave your air conditioner off, it takes energy to run your air conditioning. The most important tip, is to not be on the accelerator and the break at the same time. Let your car coast, keep a safe distance from the person in front of you. When you come to a stop and you go to take off again. When you go to take off, apply your accelerator gingerly. The most gas is used when you jam that accelerator down to the floor. You're going to throw your car I mean, right out the window. You want to be careful when driving, not to use your brakes downhill. Most people naturally, will just put your brakes on while they're coasting. Be aware of where your foot is, either on the gas, or on the brake. Your foot should almost, always be on the gas, unless you're prepared to come to a stop. Either on the gas or off all the pedals completely. I guess, the best tip to save gas while driving, is be aware of where that right foot is. Understand that, if you're on the brake, make sure you need it, if you're on the gas, make sure you need it. These are a couple of driving tips to help you save fuel.
