How to Draw Crooks

My name is Michael. I'm an artist, and now I'm going to show you how to draw a crook. Now we'll start with the face which will just be kind of like a J shape. Kind of like just a little J shape like that. Then we're going to put the nose which is another simple J shape. And then we're going to do the eyes. For the eyes we're going to make dark circle. Kind of like he's a mask, like wearing a mask. Because crooks never really want to show their face. So this will just be big circles around the eyes, with little slits to show the eyes. Then we make his mouth. A crooked smile like he's getting away with something. Then for his head, for the top of his head, we're going to give him a hat. When you're drawing a crook you want to have as much covered as possible because they don't want anybody to notice them so they wear big hats and big masks. And a little curve on the top of that to show he's wearing a knit hat. Give him a little ear and his neck. Now this is a little slanted because we're going to give him kind of a pose like he's getting away with something. So we're going to have everything slanted a little bit down and have his shoulder up to show that he's kind of creeping away. This will be his arm. And kind of have his hand as if he's doing something sneaky. 1,2,3,4,5. Then for this arm, this will be the second part of his body. Kind of give him an arched back like he's sneaking away. And then for this arm we'll have him holding a bag. So we'll just make this come down a little bit, to show his shoulder. And then this side here to show as if he's holding something. So this will be kind of the depth. And then we'll make a big fist to show what he's holding. And of course there's a thumb right here. And since he's holding a little bag we'll make that. And now we'll have him sneak away. Short leg. So now it looks like he's kind of walking away. There's his feet. And we kind of give him some stripes because crooks always where stripes. And that is how you draw a crook.
