Hi, I'm Kim. I'm here with you today at Blondie's Salon and Spa. I want to show you a couple of do it yourself bridesmaid hairstyles. Dierdra has such great balayage hair color that I'm going to work with the center parting on her, and pull this right back up into a high bun. Once you've placed a high bun on her, if the hair was a little longer, you could even fold it over and do a little bit of a high ballerina type bun, which really hot and trendy right now. What I'm going to do for her is just a couple of hand placed curls and then accent it with a really fun bridesmaid piece. When you're hand placing the curls, if you do a little bit of teasing, at the scalp area, it just helps to give it a little bit of extra lift. You always want t be sure that you're using a bobby pin to secure your curls and your pinned pieces. A little bit of a spray wax is another great finisher. It has a lot of hold, but also gives a shine to the hair. And then to accent and finish your piece, I've got a little sassy net piece here. This is terrific in lieu of a tropical flower. Put it right in between those curls, and you have a sweet and sassy bridesmaid hairstyle.
